A 5-day programme run over a series of weeks (typically 3 months) with tasks to do in between and following on from the team leader programme as the team leader builds their team to four or more people.
Taking up the management role; choosing management styles, recruitment, assessment and selection, effective on boarding, managing performance, creating an engaged team, innovation and change, developing team members, inspiring communication.
At the end of this programme delegates understand how to use a range of leadership styles and apply them with effect to their own teams, they will have developed a strong understanding of the value of performance management both to develop people and to manage under-performance and they will have a plan for each of their team members. Their skills around engagement and communication as well as team development will be improved and finally they will have a clear idea of how to recruit, assess and on board new team members as well as the capacity to manage change in this and other regards.
